About our Cork - This cork fabric came directly from Portugal to the USA. Cork fabric is made by shaving the cork bark off cork oak trees. Cork is harvested once the tree is around 25 years old and once every 9-10 years after that. Once the bark is shaved, the tree takes in more carbon dioxide to replenish the bark! It is a miracle tree!
